" A Cube Of Sugar" Pictures The Lost Nature of The Iranian Citizens
 Mirkarimi , the director ,declared ," the family relation is the main subject in this film and it pictures the lost essence of the family members. A review session was held on 18th May,2011 with the director , "Mehrdad Danesh" , the writer , "Manoochehr Shahsavari", the film producer and the executive manager of this artistic event on Tuesday evening at Pardis-e-Mellat Cinema for this film .He added ,"A city as its first forming , could not define itself in our Cinema .Since it just became a means of publicity with a special disorder of its own .After the Islamic revolution , directors tend to make rural films but cities together with their real features in 70’s specially in the films by “Rakhshan Bani Etemad", " Reza Mirkarimi " , Majid Majidi "and ….He believes that the very film has got messages in itself for the young .The Close relationship between the family members and the children have a reasonable impact on the audiences .
Also ,Mirkarimi believes that Tehran city is full of people belonged to the various cultures ."Solitude" is the only serious threat which can wind up the people to a deep danger of committing a sin .
In the small cities and villages , there are less probable risk of deviation since they tend to respect each other and very fond of their living place .He declared that the cinema as a cultural medium can bring about things in common among the world’s cultures.
In his opinion , there are two definitions for the city life in the cinematic terminology ."Mirkarimi " has pictured an Iranian family from which our society has kept distance , for cultural and moral reason .Sacrifice , modesty ,promising and kindness are all the exact specifications conveying to the audiences who watch "A Cube Of Sugar"and its freshness appearing in the family relationships in living together ,were so welcomed by the young audiences . |
